About the Daniel Baird Foundation:

The Daniel Baird Foundation was established in honour of Daniel Baird, who tragically lost his life following a stabbing in 2017. At the time of his death, there was no publicly accessible bleed control kit available in the area to manage his injury. The foundation’s mission is to equip communities with life-saving resources like the Daniel Baird Bleed Control Kit, ensuring that others do not face the same fate. By providing the tools for trauma care in public spaces, the foundation aims to prevent further loss of life due to preventable causes.
